This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Qart, Inc. (“Company” or “we” or “our” or “us”) treats information collected or provided in connection with an end user’s (“you” or “your” or “user”) use of the Company’s mobile application (the “Service”). Please note that your use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of this Policy as set forth below.

1. Collected Information.

The information collected during your use of the Service includes the following:

1.1 Submitted Information. As part of using the Service, you may submit certain information to us. For example, we may collect your name, email and mobile phone number when you register for an account on the Service, and will also collect other optional information you may choose to provide as part of such registration and as part of creating your user profile within the Service. We will also collect other information you choose to provide to us through customer service requests and other communications you may initiate. To the extent you decline to share certain information with us, we may not be able to provide some or all of the features and functionalities found on the Service. Submitted information categorized:

  • Personal account information. When you sign up for Qart, we collect personal information such as first name, last name, email address, gender, profile photo and date of birth. If you sign up via Facebook or Google, we will collect this information from them when possible. This basic information is required for us to Service an account for you.
  • Additional account information. In order to use certain features within Qart, we may ask for information to verify users on the platform. The information requested could be such as:
    • Phone number. We use the phone number to verify user profiles as well as for to facilitate any required financial transactions.
    • Country of residence. Due to the limitations of our Service, we are only able to service users in certain countries. We use this information to verify that we are able to Service you at this point of time.
    • Identity verification information. To help create and ensure a safe and trusted environment for all users, we may collect verification information (such as a images of government issued ID including but not limited to passports, identification card or driver’s license as permitted by law).
    • Miscellaneous optional profile information. You may choose to provide us information either while setting up your profile or at a later stage, personal or profile description, home/preferred airport, languages, reasons of travel or shopping. Some of this information may be visible publicly to other users in the platform.
  • Payment information. To use features such as buying items through Qart or getting paid out for delivering items through Qart we will collect certain financial information such as bank account or credit/debit card details. We will also collect certain personal information required to facilitate any required financial transaction such as country of residence, email address & Phone number.
  • Communications. When you communicate with other users within Qart or directly with our team we collect information about your communication and any information you wish to provide us.
  • Other information. You may choose to provide us information when you participate in promotions, surveys, polls or if you decide to post on our forums or community pages.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information. When you use the Service, we automatically gather certain non-personally identifiable information from you. This includes usage information, such as information on when, how often and for how long you use the Service and the content you submit and view. This also includes server log data such as the IP address, operating system, or device ID of your mobile device. As described below, we collect this information through a number of means. We may associate such non-personally identifiable information with the personally identifiable information that you provide in connection with the Service. But if we do so, we will treat the combined information as personally identifiable information.

1.3 Social Networking Information. We may allow you to create your Service account by logging in through a social networking site such as Facebook (“Social Services”). Integration with Social Services allows us to offer a more personalized experience to you when you use the Service. When you log into the Service using your Social Service account, the Social Service will provide us with access to certain information that you have provided to that Social Service (such as your profile picture, interests, and your connections), and we will use, store and disclose such information in accordance with this Policy. Please remember that the manner in which Social Services use, store and disclose your information is governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policies of each Social Service, and not the Company.

1.4 Location Information. With your permission, the Company will receive your precise physical location when you are using the Service through your mobile device. We use this information in order to personalize the Service for you and collect more accurate information on Orders posted by you or you may be interested in delivering as a Traveler for services which location is relevant.

1.5 Transaction Information. If you make a transaction through the Service, such third-party payment processor as Company may utilize from time to time will receive your payment information for purposes of processing such transactions. Note that the Company does not receive your credit card information.

2. Use of Information.

We internally use the information we collect about you as follows:

2.1 Provision of Services. We may use collected information for the purposes for which you provided the information including, for example, to create and maintain a Service account for you or to respond to a question that you e-mail to us. We also use the collected information as necessary to provide the features and functionality of the Service to you.

2.2 Updates and Troubleshooting. We may also use the collected information to contact you regarding updates or modifications to the Service, to help troubleshoot problems, or alert you to changes in our policies or agreements that may affect your use of the Service.

2.3 Personalized Content; Improvements. We may use the collected information to personalize the content that you and others see based on personal characteristics or preferences. We may also analyze collected information relating to your use of the Service in order to help us improve the Service and develop and improve other products and services.

2.4 E-mail Information, Offers, Advertising and Marketing. We may use the collected information to provide you with newsletters, promotional materials and offers via e-mail. However, we will give you the ability to opt out of receiving such e-mails in accordance with applicable law. We will not provide your personally identifiable information to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.We may promote third party products and services that we think you may find of interest.

2.5 Social Service Information. If you use a Social Service to log-in to your Service account, we may give you the ability to invite your Social Service connections to use the Service and connect you to your Social Service connections on the Service and share your activity on the Service on these Social Service platforms.

2.6 Create a Trusted and Safer Environment. We may use the collected information to perform identification checks against other information sources, including background check and help resolve any disputes.

2.7 . Share with payment partners. In order to make or receive a payment for buying or delivering an item in the platform, we may have to share some of your information to our payment partners to help facilitate any payments.

2.8 Combination. We may combine personal information collected through the Service with other information that we or third parties collect about you in other contexts, such as our communications with you via e-mail, phone, or your customer service records.

3. Disclosure of Information.

We share and disclose the information we collect about you as follows:

3.1 Other Users. When a user requests to perform a transaction with you within the Service, the applicable user(s) will receive the applicable information, which may include your name and contact information (Personally Identifiable information). In addition to the foregoing, the Service may include other features such as messaging between users, and publicly posting orders on the platform so that Travelers can request to Deliver them. The platform provides user profile to all users on the platform so that interested users can screen the other party before requesting / confirming a transaction.

3.2 Third-party Service Providers. We use contractors and third-party service providers to assist us in the operation of the Service, including service providers who assist us with providing customer service, e-mail newsletter management and to handle payments and payouts. Such third-party contractors or service providers may obtain access to the information you provide, including personally identifiable information.

3.3 Aggregated Information. We may provide advertisers and other third parties with aggregated, non-personally identifiable information about our user base and its interests and usage patterns. This may include making available or publishing aggregated, anonymous data regarding activity on this Service.

3.4 Business Arrangements. We may disclose non-personally identifiable information to third-party partners in furtherance of our business arrangements with them, including without limitation to jointly offer a product or service to you or create interoperability between our products and services and the products and services of such partners.

3.5 Legal Requirement. We will use and disclose any information where we, in good faith, believe that the law or legal process (such as a court order, search warrant or subpoena) requires us to do so or in other circumstances where we believe it is necessary to protect the rights or property of Company, our users and/or third parties.

3.6 Advertising. The Service may include advertising served by third parties, which may be targeted to you based on your online browsing activities and app usage. We may also partner with third party advertising companies in order to serve online advertising regarding our products and services to you after you use the Service. 3.7 Affiliates. We may disclose this information to our affiliates for use as described in this Policy.

4. Effective Date; Changes.

This Policy applies to all information collected by or provided to us on and after the Effective Date. Qart reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with this provision. When we make any material changes to this Policy, we will change the Effective Date. We will treat your continued use of the Service following such change as your acceptance of the changes.

5. Third Parties.

The Service may contain offers from third parties or links to third-party websites. This Policy does not apply to information that you may provide to or that may be collected by third parties. We encourage you to request such third parties to provide you with their applicable privacy policies and other terms and conditions before engaging with or making a purchase from such third parties.

6. Viewing, Amending and Deleting Information.

You can log into your account and view or amend your account information at any time. If you would like to discontinue your Services and delete your account information, please reach out to us at Please note that while changes to your profile information are reflected promptly in active user databases, our servers may retain previously provided information. Deletion of a mobile device application from your device or deletion of your Service user account will not result in the deletion of your information from our servers.

7. Security.

The personally identifiable information we collect about you is stored in limited access servers. We will maintain reasonable safeguards to protect the security of these servers and your personally identifiable information. However, no security measures are 100% effective and we cannot guarantee the security of your personally identifiable information. We expressly disclaim any representation or warranty, whether express or implied, with respect to ensuring, guaranteeing or otherwise offering any definitive promise of security in connection with your personal information or usage information. The Company does not recommend using the Service to exchange any financial, medical or other sensitive information (including credit card numbers). If you know or have reason to believe that your Qart Account credentials have been lost, stolen, misappropriated, or otherwise compromised or in case of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your Qart Account, please contact us following the instructions in the Contact Us section below.

8. Children Under 13.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 and the Service is not directed at persons under 18. If you are a parent and believe your child under the age of 13 has used the Service and provided personally identifiable information to us through the Service, please contact us at the phone number, email address and address provided in Section 11 of this Policy and we will work to delete that Service account and any such personally identifiable information.

9. Transfer as Corporate Asset.

In the event of a merger, sale of capital stock or assets, reorganization, consolidation or similar transaction involving Company, the information we possess, including personally identifiable information, shall be transferred as a corporate asset to the acquiring entity, provided that such entity will continue to handle such information in accordance with this Policy.

10. Transfer to the U.S. or Other Countries.

The Company uses facilities in the United States. Your information will be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where Company has facilities. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of information outside of your country, even if your country has more rigorous data protection standards.

11. Privacy Policies of any Linked Websites or Other Parties.

This privacy policy only addresses Qart’s practices for the personal (and other) information that we may obtain about you through any of the Sites. Please be aware that when you use or access any of the Sites, you may be directed to other websites that are beyond our control, and Qart is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties or the content of linked websites. We would expect most, if not all, of these third parties will collect information about you when you use their offerings. However, Qart is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, regardless whether they are linked or otherwise connected to our Sites. We encourage you to read the posted privacy policy and terms of use whenever interacting with any third-party website, app, or other offering.

12. Other Important Information.

12.1 Google Maps/Earth. Parts of the Qart Platform use Google Maps/Earth services, including the Google Maps API(s). Use of Google Maps/Earth is subject to Google Maps/Earth Additional Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

12.2 Your California Privacy Rights. Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California can obtain certain information about the types of personal information that companies with whom they have an established business relationship have shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. In particular, the law provides that companies must inform consumers about the categories of personal information that have been shared with third parties, the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties. 12.3 Do Not Track Disclosure. We do not have a mechanism in place for responding to browser “do not track” signals or other similar mechanisms used to limit collection of information for use in Online Behavioral Advertising.
